2008 Race Results
It was an eventful 2008 race season. After a variety of events and mishaps including a ninety-mile-per-hour direct hit into the guardrail at MidOhio, we finished second in the Great Lakes Region. A flat tire during the opening lap of the National Championships dropped us to fifteenth place nationally, although I set fifth-fastest lap of the race during the event. We built two complete race cars this year, the second one in just twenty days. We'll be returning to NASA competition in 2009!
Welcome!
My name is Jack Baruth, and I approve this message.
Thanks for stopping by! For reasons I don't fully understand, approximately four to six hundred people a month visit this site. Why? Who knows. Perhaps you're interested in BMX and you want to find out about the guy who wrote the world-famous and much-translated Monster Bunnyhop Article. Maybe we went to school together and you want to see if I turned out to be as miserable a failure as you expected. (Short answer: yes.) Maybe I made fun of you on the Internet, or bumped you off a race track, or cut you off in traffic, and now you're out for revenge. Well, you're not the first, is all I can say! Or maybe, just maybe, you are looking for somebody else. Sorry about that.
Well, as long as you're here, why not click some of the links to the right and read what I've written lately? This will be a big year ahead, as I travel the country (and perhaps the world) to bring you some exciting coverage of the latest automobiles and coolest amateur racing events. Well, now that I think about it, there's nothing cool about club racing, but I hope you'll click anyway! Take care - jb
